What would a forward-thinking woodland elf of today wear? Honor Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear is the answer! Earthy tones, woodsy prints depicting deer and flowers, rather moss-like sweaters, the slightest hints to the seventies, oh and the giant trees covered in mushrooms in the background, all add to the overwhelming, but not undesirable, forest theme of the show. These woods are not dark and damp and scary, but instead whimsical and welcoming, like something out of Alice and Wonderland. There were some very untraditional color combinations, but hey, no one can ever tell mother nature she's in the wrong, even if it's a human designing on her behalf. Designing based on nature gives you the most free reign and room to explore. Just as diverse as the woods themselves, every look in this collection was so clearly its own individual, but they still looked like they all belonged to the same forest (no garden variety here!)
