Contrary to the singular hue named in the brand's name, this collection popped with a diverse spectrum of colors and patterns. Frequent motifs in the show included buffalo plaids, in both black, red, and green, florals, and stripes. Visually, it didn't have many factors bringing the collection together, but Red Valentino kept the looks somewhat consistent with pale stockings and platform heels in every look. Nothing about this collection was abstractly challenging (unless there's a super secret meaning that I just don't get), but for this type of brand, more casual than high-fashion, this collection was the perfect mix of everyday, traditional-dress with more developed style.
